Adding Records

Note: Your view of this screen will differ from what you see here, based on how the dataset was set up.

  • Easily switch between datasets using the Change Dataset dropdown in the upper right hand corner.
         Have 10+ datasets? Use the search box to find the dataset you need.
  • Fill in the options:
    • Don't see a "Question" field like in the screenshot or see more fields? Don't Panic! Your dataset just has different options.
    • Use Predefined Entries to speed up data collection!
    • Multiple Choice fields: Radio Buttons: select 1; Checkboxes: select 1+; Lists: Use CTRL and click options to see if you can select 1+.
    • Free Text fields: add any text you want
    • Numeric fields only accept whole numbers, no text
    • Date / Time fields: choose the appropriate date and/or time
    • Scale fields: click a radio button or move the slider over as desired.  Note: move the slider over at least 1 notch to record data. 
    • Blue ? icons: instructions - hover your mouse over the icon
    • Required fields have a red asterisk
  • Submit the transaction!
    • The Submit button adds the record & leaves all fields filled out, for ease of entering multiple transactions with similar data.
    • The Submit & Clear button adds the record & resets all fields.
