If you have a "how to" question:
- Check the LibGuides FAQ, or
- Email Community Relations.
1. Run the A-Z Resource List Management Tool
2. Create/Add the A-Z Guide ID
When the A-Z Resource List Management page appears, the first thing you need to enter is your A-Z Guide ID. You can:
- Let the tool create a guide for you, or
- Use an existing guide. (Please see the More Info page for important info on using existing guides.)
Creating a New Guide
Simply click Click here to create a new guide to store the imported links to create a new guide. The List Guide ID will automatically be stored in the system after it is created. When that is done, move on to adding your Serials Solutions client identifier.

Reusing an Existing Guide
If you already have a guide you'd like to import your resources to, enter the guide ID and click Submit.
The Guide ID can be found on your Guide Index screen.
3. Import Your Databases
Enter Client ID: Import/Sync Resource List with External Provider Section
- Enter your Serials Solutions client identifier
- Click Launch.
Database Information
After the Resource Management tool is launched, it will get all of your database information from your Serials Solutions account: database title, URL, short and long descriptions, and status.
- A box will pop up listing all of the resources to be imported.
- All resources are checked off by default.
- You can uncheck any resources you do not want to import.
- Some resources will have additional notes. Here are two examples:

- When you're finished reviewing your databases to import, click Import Selected Links.

Database Import Complete
After a successful import, a box will pop up listing all of the resources that were imported.
You can either scroll through the list and click the close link at the bottom, or just click the x in the top right corner to close the box.
