What Is It?

There are lots of cool things you can do with the API utility - like creating a list of your subject categories & guides that updates automatically!

We're going to show you how to do just that: make an expandable/collapsible list of subjects that, when expanded, reveal the guides found in that subject category.

This list can be embedded anywhere - on your LibGuides or CampusGuides home page (shown below), on web pages, even in your course management system.

Please be aware: the list of subjects & guides will only update every 6 hours due to the fact that this menu uses the API utility. 

The API cache updates at 6am, 12pm, 6pm, and 12am (CST).
